Junior Announcement - Coaches & Training

In 2024-25 our club will be entering multiple teams in the Geelong Junior Cricket Association U11 (Friday Night), U13 (Friday Night & Saturday morning competitions), U15 (Sat am)

Our juniors enjoy an environment where they can develop their individual cricket skills, their teamwork skills and create friendships amongst kids from a variety of schools in the area.  The senior players at the club are involved with all levels of Juniors and the older players will also train with the seniors to get the benefits of the experience of our turf players.

Our junior program relies on volunteers during match time and also at training. We will coach parents to teach them the basics of cricket including scoring and umpiring.

As a Club we’ve enjoyed a lot of success over the years and it’s largely a product of everybody making a contribution on and off the field.

Leopold Cricket Club Junior membership is one of the lowest in the GCA and we have discounts for families with multiple children. The membership includes insurances, coaching, supply of balls and some equipment, discounted junior family functions and more.
